our service
We are a very small and friendly team. It is our aim to build an excellent relationship with each and every one of our clients so that we produce a wedding video that is unique to you. Before the big day, we shall visit you to discuss your particular requirements and any ideas that you are keen to include in your film, such as the soundtrack etc. - after all, we are producing this DVD for you and it's important that we get it just right! The running time of each film varies, but a typical example runs for approximately 75 minutes. Each DVD is presented in a white, leather-bound case.

frequently asked questions
Why do we need a wedding video anyway?
The simple answer is, "You don't need one." The same as you don't need a cake or a photographer, but if you would like to relive the best day of your life over and over again, then you may decide that you would very much like to have one!
But we've got a photographer!
There is a perception that a wedding video is like a photo album, but with moving pictures. It is - if it's done badly. A good wedding video will tell a story and will be a fly-on-the-wall documentary/film of your big day. It will show all the major events of the day, as well as all those special candid moments that only a camcorder can capture. If it's done properly, it will evoke the spirit of the most special day of your life.
Having a film-crew at my wedding will be too intrusive.
Not if you hire the right film-crew! Time and time again I've been told how unobtrusive we were on the day. Broadcast quality cameras have become small enough to enable us to be where we need to be without standing out from the crowd. We're less intrusive than the photographer because we observe the day, rather than become part of it. Our dress code also matches that of your guests', so we blend in even more.
Uncle Ted's got a camcorder and editing software. Why can't he do it for free?
He could! But we like to think we'd do a much better job. We're hired by couples for the same reason as you wouldn't ask Auntie Beryl to be your official photographer, despite the fact that she's got a fantastic camera. We're professionals, shooting and editing, day in, day out. It's our job and many of us have dozens of television credits to our name.
Secondly, Uncle Ted is a guest at your wedding and is there to relax and enjoy the day. Our energy and concentration is 100% focused on producing our best wedding video yet.
Why is it so expensive?
Relatively, it's not. When ordering a wedding video, you are effectively hiring one or two cameramen for the day, cameras, microphones and tape stock - and that's just on your wedding day. The post-production requires a powerful computer, a video deck and 40 hours (one working week) of an editor's time. That's a lot of expensive equipment and skilled manpower for your money!
